Short Story - Eternal

It has been some time since I last uploaded a story, not for lack of inspiration, it was a question of time.

It is a pleasure to share with you this little story about life, time and the labels that we assign to objects and subjects in our world.

I have many more stories to come and, hopefully, they will join this one in the not too distant future.

Enjoy.

Mind Fields: Awakening

Finally, my novel, Mind Fields: Awakening is available on Amazon.

The story takes place in the ending days of the war in Iraq and follows the journey of Second Lieutenant Michael Anders from fighter jet pilot and into a world of conspiracy, deceit, research into human consciousness and the paranormal phenomena associated with altered states of mind.

Through his intuition, Michael figures out the clues that lead him to understand a vision of coming disaster and search for those responsible. But his journey soon turns deadly when he realises he is finally seeing the world in a new perspective, that of a person awakened to a greater reality and to a world plagued with secret societies bent on control and domination.

This is the first volume of the Mind Fields series and I hope you guys enjoy reading it just as much as I enjoyed writing it. I am hard at work on the second novel which should be ready to go up on amazon by year's end.

Interview

I recently did an interview with Wendy Siefken of Siefken Publications. In it, I discuss the inspiration for my stories, my writing process and my upcoming novel, Mind Fields.

It was quite enjoyable to answer the questions that have also been on my mind for a while, especially the last one.

The interview can be found at three different links: Link 1Link 2Link 3 .

Check it out and Wendy's website, where you can find interviews with other upcoming and indie authors.

Take care, folks.

Short story - Far Beyond the Stillness

I have always found it interesting to deal with this particular topic (no spoilers, the story is far more enjoyable without them).

The idea for this one came one morning, when I remembered the dream I had a few nights before. For some reason, the dialogue in dreams is far more, how should I put it, mysterious and momentous. It is a source of boundless inspiration.

I took the opportunity to narrate from a first person perspective, the reason for it will hopefully become evident at the end of the story.

As always, enjoy and let me know if it struck a chord with you.

Short story - Infection

This one comes courtesy of my fascination with post-apocalyptic scenarios and the people therein. Whenever I think about a scene or scenario that involves a dystopian future, I can't help but feel invested in the characters and what they're going through.

The idea for it came when I started thinking that a virus would push people into three camps, the healthy, the infected and the dead. With this in mind, it wouldn't be a stretch to imagine what lengths the healthy would go to  in order to keep themselves safe, out of fear.

Hope you guys like it (link here) and let me know what you think.
